LOS ANGELES -- American DJ Supply has introduced a compact 4-channel lighting controller that’s equally "at home" on the go or in permanent installations. The new T-4 sound-to-chase controller features an innovative easy-mount T-bar case design, which makes it ideal for lighting contractors and installers as well as mobile DJs.

Offering many similar features as American DJ’s popular CC-500 controller, the T-4 will control and coordinate the movements of up to four fixtures, allowing DJs and clubs to put on a superb light show. However, the versatile T-4 goes a step beyond conventional DJ lighting controllers with its specially-designed contractor casing and hanging bracket.

The adaptable hanging bracket allows the T-4 to be easily installed in a variety of permanent applications. It can be placed on a tripod, for example, hung on a two-by-four or attached to a pipe.

The T-4 Controller is also designed to be versatile in another way -- it can control lighting movements in either Audio or Chase modes. Users can instantly shift between the two modes with the flick of a switch.

When in the Audio Mode, the T-4 will execute light patterns to the beat of the music. It comes equipped with a built-in microphone for sound-activation. In the Chase Mode, the controller will orchestrate lighting effects to its own pre-programmed chase patterns. There are 16 different chase patterns built into the unit, as well as a speed knob for controlling chases from slow to fast.

The T-4’s highly affordable price -- just $79.95 manufacturers suggested retail -- is also something that both DJs and contractors will appreciate. The controller includes four 3-prong plugs (one per channel) and has a maximum output of 500 watts per channel. It measures a compact 8"x 5-1/2"x 2" and is available in 120V or 220V operation.
